Borders Bonanza

Winnie will identify and talk about all the different types of quilt  borders.  The program is a great big show and tell of about 35-40 quilts ranging from simple to intricate borders.  You will also see many quilts with multiple pieced  borders like medallion quilts and Round Robin quilts.  Don’t forget to bring your camera!!!

About Winnie:

Winnie has been quilting for over 40 years and teaching more than 35 years. She is a quilt book author, quilt judge, Craftsy Instructor, quilt, teacher/lecture, and pattern designer. Quilting is her passion….. and therapy. Winnie loves scrap quilts and quilts that have a lot of piecing, which led her to Pieced borders. She is always trying to break down and simplify a piecing technique. Winnie loves teaching and visiting guilds with her programs and workshops and loves teaching at retreats.
