Linda’s Journey
Linda will share a selection of favorite quilts she made as events shaped her life and direction to get her where she is now.

Bio:
Most of us have had the experience of becoming “all out excited” over a new hobby or activity only to cool once the “new” has worn off. That was Linda’s story until some 35 years ago when she made her first quilt and found herself immersed in a world of infinite possibilities with fabrics. Linda has produced a trunk show of quilts, many of them of her own design. After making a complex reverse appliqué stain glass quilt, Linda envisioned a simple way to make the same beautiful quilt. She has never “cooled” or even looked back.
Linda trademarked her technique, FUSIQUE®, which is a fused reverse appliqué process. Linda successfully launched her pattern business Among Friends using her innovative technique. She appeared on Simply Quilts with Alex Anderson on HGTV, and the PBS show Kaye’s Quilting Friends with Kaye Wood. Her work has been featured on the cover of Quilts & Other Comforts and exhibited in Lyon, France at Expo Magic Quilt.
She’s teaching with Quilter’s Emporium on their 2023 Royal Caribbean Cruise.
