Pick a Jelly Roll of your choice, coordinating setting fabrics, and border. This is the easiest way to go.
I have had students try to use fat quarters and it doesn’t work as well.
But, if students want to cut 40 strips, they should be 2 1/2” selvage to selvage.
They will enjoy my method for construction using jelly roll or 2 1/2” x WOF strips.
Patterns can be purchased from me, or if they find them in shops.
DO NOT cut strips in half as stated in pattern. Keep strips long.
