DESCRIPTION:Christ Covenant Church\, 6390 North Major Drive\, Beaumont\, TX\, 77713 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHi! I’m Tina Craig. I started quilting in 1990 as an unemployed newlywed looking for something to do. I took a beginner sampler quilt class at Colchester Mill Fabric Store and haven’t stopped stitching yet. I try to challenge myself to learn something new with every quilt.  \n\n\n\nWhen we moved to a seaside town in southern Rhode Island in 1997\, Seaside Stitches was born. Back then\, I was making and selling hundreds of paper-pieced quilt block lapel pins. Now\, I prefer to teach you how to make your own! \n\n\n\nI specialize in precision piecing (foundation paper piecing and English paper piecing) and domestic machine quilting. I enjoy learning new techniques and have even stepped out of my comfort zone to try art quilting. \n\n\n\nI love traveling to quilt guilds\, but will continue to be available on Zoom. My trunk shows are engaging and fun. Every quilt I show has a story to tell. Most of my workshops are technique-based\, so students leave with knowledge that translates to many future projects.
