This is the easiest way to go.I have had students try to use fat quarters and it doesn’t work as well.But\, if students want to cut 40 strips\, they should be 2 1/2” selvage to selvage.They will enjoy my method for construction using jelly roll or 2 1/2” x WOF strips.Patterns can be purchased from me\, or if they find them in shops.DO NOT cut strips in half as stated in pattern.
