SUMMARY:Workshop: Emma Hughes - Basket Weaving
DESCRIPTION:  “Just A Big Ole Tote” \n\n\n\nWe will be weaving a large tote with a woven solid base of 8″x16″x13″. The base will be locked in with 3 rows of quarter inch flat oval reed. The sides will be woven with 10 rows of 3/4 inch flat reed with 3 sets of 3 rows of dyed quarter flat oval reed as an accent pattern. This tote has a 10 inch open notch push in handle. It will be finished off with a 5/8  inch reed for the rim and will have a sea grass filler and double lashing to hold the rim together. \n\n\n\nAll supplies are being special ordered for our class so pre-payment of the kit fee is required this time.Kit Fee:  $85 (must be paid in advance by March 20\, non-refundable)  \n\n\n\nChecks – make out to Emma Hughes but give to Cindy Thomas before 3/20/22 \n\n\n\nCash – give to Cindy before 3/20/22 \n\n\n\nClass will be limited to 12 students.   \n\n\n\nWorkshop fee- $25 Guild member/ $35 Non-Guild Members
